Absolute is operating as a recruitment agency for the supply of permanent opportunities.Our Newport client – a well-known,
prestigious car dealership, is currently seeking several experienced Vehicle Technicians to join their existing team of dedicated
experts
You will ideally be minimum Level 2 qualified in Car Mechanics/Vehicle Maintenance and be hungry for new challenges and career
development within the Group
Previous Main Dealership work experience would be desirable though working for an Independent is also acceptable
Your working hours would be Monday Friday 8.30 – 5.00 and Saturday 8.30-12.30 on a rota basis 1 in 3 or 4
As an experienced Light vehicle technician, you will be responsible for covering servicing and repairs of vehicles and also and vehicle
preparation – ensuring they are in perfect condition and ready to leave the show room
An MOT license is desirable but not essential
Essential Skills and Experience
Able to work to exact standards with good attention to detail.
Good standard of Secondary Education and a qualification in Motor Mechanics minimum Level 2.
Experience in attaining high levels of perfection in their work
Proven ability to solve problems.
Knowledgeable in methodologies to optimise efficiency.
Be fully flexible in their approach to the varied work requirements driven by customer demand

skills, who has the ability and willingness to learn and develop new skills in a fast paced quality driven environment. They
must be proactive and able to focus attention on the detail. They must demonstrate the ability to quickly learn and retain new skills.
Salary is from £19,000 to £30,000 depending on qualifications, skill set and experience and also offered is an Individual
bonus scheme and pension
